Why we started
Dr Pritesh trained as a Radiologist at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Over the years, relatives and friends would often call him when someone in their family was diagnosed with cancer.
- “Are we on the right treatment path?”
- “Is there another option?”
- “Whom should we meet for a second opinion?”
He would reach out to his colleagues and seniors to help them get another opinion.
Over time, one question stayed with him:
People who know a doctor can ask for help. But what about families trying to figure all this out on their own?
The Brown Sage started with a simple thought – can we make getting a second opinion easier, so families can move ahead with their treatment with more confidence?
